This week was all about making my own music to use in Cube. Previously I experimented with music my lecturer gave me but today it was my turn. The brief wanted me to compose music for the opening of the game; intruder alert for when enemies appear before you; entering a secret room and when the player dies.
I constructed the first three tracks and put them into Wwise however, it was when I ran the game I came across a crucial error. What happened was my opening was 84bpm but my intruder alert and death music were made at 120bpm. I had set up my wise at 84bpm so when the other music cued in, they were out of time. The way I fixed this was redo my opening music at 120 so that all my music would be at the same bpm.
